Campbell baby arrives!

I’ve been waiting for almost four years for this baby to arrive. Vanessa has been my assistant for about four years and together with her husband, I knew they would have the cutest baby ever. So, as you can imagine, I have been planning this session in my head, collecting all the cutest little boy and little girl props I could find, because they weren’t going to find out what they were having until the actual birth…. I have two baby girls coming in tomorrow and they are going to get to wear SO many cute girl outfits since – you guessed it – George is a BOY!

Now since George’s daddy, Collin, is a Patriot fan, I ordered this knitted baby jersey from The Knitting Bitty https://www.facebook.com/theknittingbitty and the felted football from April’s Yarnables https://www.facebook.com/AprilsYarnables They both make such darling things.

Now – let’s talk about Georges massive amounts of hair, and those FAT cheeks!!! Well he did weigh well over 8 pounds at birth!

If you are expecting – now is the time to book your newborn session. I typically take newborns on Tuesday and Thusday mornings at 10am when the light is beautiful in my studio and perfect for natural light images. Once your baby arrives, the session date can be adjusted to make sure we photograph your baby between 7 and 14 days old. Even up to 21 days old is okay. Hiring an experienced photographer is very important. It’s like a wedding – you only get one opportunity to capture these sweet, curled up images so do not take the chance that it won’t be done safely and in a manner that produces quality images. Typically you will be able to view your images in 48 hours and order the very next week!

I work closely with women who knit and sew to provide the cutest, softest newborn props, hats and headbands that will embelish your images. Every attention to detail is made to ensure you get the best possible images of your baby.

From Newborn to One Year in a blink

Time Flies – we’ve all heard that saying….. but it’s SO TRUE! Last year when I was restoring True Blue the 56 Chevy Truck I owned, the guy who was coordinating it all became a Uncle and asked me to photograph his new nephew, Jack.

Well Jack was about 4 weeks old and a chunky little guy! I mean look at those thighs!

Fast forward to this year, and Jack comes back for his One Year photos – he looks adorable, bright eyed and happy as can be!

And of course, no one year session would be complete without a fun CAKE SMASH! After the initial taste, I think he loved it.

He’s giving us the THUMBS UP!

Brenda Horan Photography offers a special program to all of our clients with newborns, called the Baby Cakes Program. $425 BabyCAKES – 4 sessions + a 30 minute parent/newborn session (studio) FREE 8×8 album at the completion of the program. * minimum purchase of $250 at each session. It’s a value of OVER $1140!!! All for $425. Call the studio to schedule your baby’s first photo session at 918-704-4399. Typically we like to have newborns between 7-14 days old.

We also have the WatchMEgrow program which is suited for babies 6 months to kids up to 5 years – it’s $275 and you get three sessions during the course of a calender year. There is a minimum of $300 at each session.

Newborn Portraits: Newborn Session

Brenda Horan Photography offers a special program to all of our clients with newborns, called the Baby Cakes Program. The Baby Cakes Program includes four sessions during the baby’s first year plus a bonus mini, indoor family session. The sitting fee is $325 and covers the sitting fee for each of those five sessions.
